MALONE - State police in Ray Brook are seeking two Saranac Lake teenagers who were last seen in the early Saturday morning.

Sammi Walker, 15, and Brook Oakes, 14, took Franklin County Public Transportation to Malone to visit Walker’s boyfriend. Ms. Walker’s sister, Jackie Walker, said no one knows if they actually got on the bus back.

“It’s been very concerning,” according to Jackie Walker, who described her sister as being about 5’5,” with a medium build, blue eyes and dark brown hair.

Oakes’ physical description was not immediately available. Troopers declined to release any information about her, citing that she is a minor. The Telegram was not able to locate any of her family members.
