Ogdensburg police arrested Brian M. McDonald, 22, of 343 Belmont Courts, for disorderly conduct after racing his engine outside his home at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. He was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to city court at 8:30 a.m. March 1.

City police ticketed Marilyn S. Cota, 54, of 1110 Knox St., for operating an uninspected vehicle at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday at the Ford Street Extension and Route 37.

City police arrested John D. Latray 49, of 300 Franklin St., for first-degree criminal contempt after police responded to a reported assault against Nancy L. Bailey, 58, of Franklin Street. He was arraigned by City Court Judge William R. Small and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail.

City police arrested Dana L. Chubb, 38, of 6 Will Court, Syracuse, for unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was ticketed for failure to stop at the stop sign, an obstructed plate, and failure to comply when he allegedly refused to cooperate with police at the 200 block of Lake Street at 9:42 p.m. Wednesday. He is being held on arraignment and on a U.S. Marshall’s warrant for probation violation.
