OGDENSBURG — Graveside services for Robert M. Racine, age 84 of Ogdensburg will be held in the spring at Notre Dame Cemetery. Mr. Racine passed away Thursday (Jan 24, 2013) at the Riverledge Healthcare Facility.Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are special friends Joseph Lassial of Valatie New York and Carol Barclay of Canton.Two brothers Charles & his twin Richard Racine predeceased him.

Robert was born on February 10, 1928 in Watertown, NY a son of the late Charles & Mae (Dumas) Racine. He graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and continued his education at Wadham’s Hall for a period. He entered the US Army in 1946 and was stationed in Japan during his enlistment.

Bob worked as a local barber in Ogdensburg for many years and was a member of the VFW and Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed socializing with his clientele and fishing.
