SEXUAL ABUSE - LAWRENCEVILLE — A 19-year-old man faces charges after he allegedly tried to photograph a teenage girl through the bathroom window of her North Lawrence home, later admitting to state police that he had a sexual relationship with her nearly two years ago.

Eric J. Deshane, 19, of 733 State Route 37C, was arrested Thursday after he stood outside the Brooklyn Road residence Wednesday night attempting to take pictures with his cell phone as the 15-year-old girl stepped out of the shower, state police at Massena said.

Deshane admitted under questioning to having had an inappropriate sexual relationship with the girl in 2011, when he was 17 and she was 13, troopers said.

Deshane was charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony, as well as second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors. Following arraignment in Brasher Town Court, he is to appear in Lawrence Town Court on Feb. 5 to answer the charges.



HARASSMENT - HOPKINTON - Canton-based state police charged David Lamphere, 36, of Nicholville with second-degree harassment Thursday stemminf from an incident reported to troopers at 10p.m. Jan. 1 from the town of Hopkinton.



CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - NORWOOD - Massena-based state police charged Cooper L. Bond, 20, of Norfolk with second-degree criminal contempt at 7:50 p.m. Thursday following an investigation into a complaint received at 3:49 p.m. Dec. 7 from the village of Norwood. Troopers said the arrest was made at 11 South Main St., Norfolk. Bond was released on an appearance ticket.



CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Brian E. Stoddard, 21, of Bombay with second-degree criminal contempt and trespassing and ticketed him for leaving the scene of a propertydamage accident, a right of way violation, usafe movement of a stopped vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent following an investigation into an incident reported at 9:49 p.m. Jan. 6 from the town of Massena. The arrest took place at 10:09 p.m. Thursday at 800 Route 11, Moira, troopers said.



CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Edward G. Hill, 37, of Norfolk with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 1:40 p.m. Thursday from the town of Norfolk.



FEDERAL FELONY WARRANT - CHATEAUGAY - Malone-based state police picked up Travis R. Adams, 28, of Hogansburg on a federal felony warrant following a stop at 9:46 a.m. Thursday on Route 11 in the town of Chateuagay. He was held pending transfer to federal authorities.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MALONE - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region Thursday. Among those were:

■ Wayne H. Brockway, 75, of Moira and Cecilia T. Cornish, 69, of Malone were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 1:55 p.m. Thursday on West Street at Park Street.

■ Charles T. Ashley, 76, of Brushton and Charles E. Corron, 55, of Brushton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 8:20 p.m. Thursday on County Route 32, near Quain Road, in the town of Fort Covington.



SPEED IN ZONE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Shannon K. Garvey, 24, of Potsdam for speed in zone (45/30) at 9:51 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Elm Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Ian Helmer, 26, of Winthrop for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 9:48 a.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Maple Street after the officer observed his vehicle ravelling with a red inspection sticker indicating it expired in 2012. It was confirmed expired in July.



WRONG WAY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kellie Ann Smith, 17, of St. Regis Falls for traveling the wrong way on a one way street at 3:20 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Main Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Sarah W. Nelson, 53, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 8:25 a.m. Friday on Main Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Joy E. Graves, 59, of Haverstock Road, Massena, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 8 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kyle Roundpoint-Douglas, 20, of Rooseveltown for speed in zone at 9:42 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on East Hatfield Street.



STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kathleen M.Ryan, 53, of Hough Road, Massena, for illegally passing a red light following a traffic stop near Parker Avenue and state Route 37.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Stacey M. Leclair, 24, of Massena for speed in zone at 3:51 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on East Hatfield Street.
