RAPE - CONSTABLE - Malone-based state police charged Christopher L. Jones, 20, of Constable with second-degree rape and endagnering the welfare of a child following an incident reported to troopers at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated several property damage accidents around the region Sunday and early Monday. Among those were:

■ Francis T. Green, 35, of Hannawa Falls at 2:05 p.m. Sunday on County Rout 35, near Bagdad Road, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Kurt T. Breitbeck, 44, of Massena at 6:14 a.m. Monday on state Route 37C, near North Road Road, in the town of Brasher.

■ Sarah J. Knechtel, 25, of Churubusco at 11:31 a.m. on County Route 28, near Powers Road, in the town of Constable.
