CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Jason C. Habeck, 24, of May Road, Potsdam, with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana Wednesday subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on state Route 11C in the hamlet of Brasher Falls. He was reportedly in possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana. Habeck was additionally charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of marijuana and ticketed for a window tint violation and a tailight violation. He was arraigned in local court and released under the supervision of the probation department to reappear Jan, 15 in the town of Brasher court.
