SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Martin E. Maxwell, 52, of Massena with operation of a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration at 1:45 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Harrowgate Commons.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - Village police charged David L. Ladue, 48, of McGinnis Road, Waddington, with operation of a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration at 1:23 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on McCluskey Avenue.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Darryl J. Delosh, 51, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 9:13 a.m. Thursday on Andrews Street.

BURGLARY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Spencer T. Davis, 22, of Potsdam with second-degree burglary at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday after he allegedly entered an apartment at Midtown and stole a basket of change. He was arraigned by Potsdam Village Justice Nicholas Pignone and released under the supervision of the probation department.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Tina Lee Matthews, 36, of Hermon with petit larceny at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into the theft of a purse on Dec. 3. Police said a photo from surveillance footage posted on local media outlets and on social media sites assisted in the apprehension of Matthews.

FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Ronald Charleson, 57, of Winthrop for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk following a traffic stop at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated several property damage accidents on Wednesday. Among those were:

■ Heather M. Soulia, 25, of Brasher Iron Works at 9:09 a.m. on County Route 50, near the Leary Flint Road, in the town of Brasher.

■ Adam M. Plante, 26, of Fort Covington at 9:35 a.m. in a private drive off the General Leroy Manor Road in the town of Dannemora.

■ Richard D. Robinson, 72, of Dickinson Center at 3:45 p.m. on the Palmer Road , near County Route 5, in the town of Dickinson.

■ Paul Fantone, 48, of Norwood at 7:19 p.m. on the Lincoln Pond Road, near the Twin Brooks Road, in the town of Elizabethtown.
